The Ambassador program is a way for you to get a free pair of gloves by helping us get the word out. Become an affiliate of GoGlove by promoting the product in three ways.
Responsibilities
Visit retail shops for skiing, biking, or running in your local area. Obtain 5 ski shop owners emails and send to program coordinator
Set up one day at a retail store to demo GoGlove. Spend 3-4 hours showing GoGlove to patrons at the shop
Distribute fliers on cars at one ski mountain in the late morning or early afternoon. Take 3 pictures of lines of cars with the flier and send to program coordinator.
Once you have completed these tasks, you will get a free GoGlove worth $129! This is a great opportunity to join a start up in the early stages and get some cool stuff!
You will receive a sample GoGlove with basic functions for demo purposes. This demo GoGlove must be returned. The completed retail-ready GoGlove will be sent to you in June, 2015. You are also eligible for a letter of recommendation for your efforts for future job seeking opportunities.
Requirements: You will go through a 1 hour training program before you meet with Retail shops. You will be provided with a document outlining responsibilities and commitments that must be signed prior to starting.
GoGlove is looking for a software engineer intern. We need a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can figure out complex problems and help build a brand new technology stack. You will be part of an exciting technology startup and work on a wide array of projects. Come gain valuable real world experience that you could never learn in school!
Overall experience with git and github is required. As we use a wide range of tools and language, and our products span embedded to web, we are looking for someone with experience in one or more the following areas:
Front-end development
Experience with HTML5/CSS and Javascript
Experience with libraries such as Angular.js and Bootstrap
Created responsive web designs from the ground up
Back-end development
Experience with Python/Django or other web frameworks
Built database driven websites
Experience with REST API's
App Development
Experience with Android and/or iOS development
Use native languages (Java and Objective-C/Swift)
Embedded Development
Embedded development with C/C++
ARM development experience
Bluetooth Experience is also a plus
Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience with one of the above items. Showcasing a project in one of the above areas is a huge plus.
